I have changed the stock seat to racing seat. The question is It is legal to use the stock seat belt with the racing seat?? Anybody knows??
A Yes it is ok to use the stock belts. If you are going to be racing the car it would be safest to have five point belts. I have a GTI will racing seats and normal seat belts. The seat will not determine the legality of the seat belt.
i have a pair of universal racing seats coming today and i need to mount them to the stock oem brackets so i can retain my normal seat belt. cant do harnesses because its illegal in my area. please help me.
A Buddy Club seat rails retain the use of the stock seat belt. When my friend had a Buddy Club seat, on stock seat rails, the seat would flex ALOT. Where as on my civic, I have a buddy club seat and rails, and theres no flex in it. Don't do things cheaply.
