- Can you replace street racing seats with power seats. Because i want power racing seats.?
I'm looking at a 1999 Camaro Z28, How do I make the acceleration faster. And it has power steering, i want to buy a racing steering wheel is it possible with a power steering wheel.

A Drop in some Recaros, comfy and they hold you in the corners. They have lots of nice ones. why would you want all that extra weight that comes with power seats? it just makes your car slower. Also, it is easy to replace the steering wheel, what do you think they have to do when they steal a car with The Club attached to the steering wheel. They cut the soft steering wheel and remove the hardened steel Club.

- Are Racing Seats and Harnesses street legal?
Can I use a racing seat and harness for daily driving on the street? Will i get pulled over for looking like i am not using a seatbelt?

A Race seats are legal for street but the harnesses are legal for street only if DOT approved...

- I have bought a Hunsaker racing seat from Kragen, What size bolt do I need to mount in to the frame I made?
I am making a custom racing seat for a video game controller and need to know the bolt size.

A bolt size/thread is std M8.

VGI#1: a game like Fallout 3, FNV, and Oblivion etc., except your in the caveman times and the enemies will be dinosaurs, tigers, etc. and the story would be about how the myth goes about if there really were any dinosaurs and how did they disappear VGI#2: a FPS game where you are the aliens and you take over countless planets (COD style) and the optional mode would be where your the humans defending the planet from diff aliens every mission/chapter VGI#3: a racing game where you could attach guns, gadgets, etc. and if your car is about to blow up then you have a few seconds to steal another guys car and continue and you could just get out of your car at any time and go into first or third person and blow up your competition with rockets or snipe the guy in the driver seat, etc. and you could create your levels, completely new characters, vehicles, etc. VGI#4: a horror game set in heaven where hell's demonic creatures have overrun heaven and you have to save heaven (or on the other hand choose to side with the demons and destroy heaven) ps. tell me your favorite video game idea (plz)

A I would say that all of them are great ideas mostley the 1 one is my favorut and if does becom real games i would totally buy them.

I'm 18 building my Tiburron gt to the max. So far i have a seibon carbon fiber hood, k&n air intake, racing light rims, Kuhmo low profile tires, I'm trying to fix it up but i dont know if its worth it. I have a good deal for a pair with the harness for $350.00 Please explain why, and don't bash on my car. Waste your time somewhere else if you do. Thanks!

A Search eBay for car seat covers and you will come upon places that can make you car seat covers which make you seats look like racing ones. They are not cheap but certainly not as expensive as new car seats. Also they do custom seats to fit your car model.

hey guys im a gamer and i need a new chair for my comp but ive gone in a few stores and i cant seem to find any good chairs except for these generic crap office chairs im looking for a really comfortable padded chair that doesn't have a bunch of stupid shit on it i keep looking at all these "gaming chairs" and theyre all these stupid like sparco racing seats or some shit that sit on the floor and like go back and forth or some shit i want a chair thats made with computer gaming in mind without a bunch of gimicks and is just adjustable and extremely comfortable that will last anyone know of anything like that lol???

- speed dreams, racing dreams..?
hi :) i've had two dreams recently involving speed 1. i was in a car that was actually just half a car, the front of the car, the front wheels and the front seats, the rest of the car was missing. and i was racing down a road that was very curved(?). and it was such a nice feeling. i don't particulary like speed, nor am i afraid of it, but in the dream it was great because i was driving the car so well for such a speed, and the landscape around me was very collorfull and beautifull, i was passing through different types of landscapes with different colours... it was just a fun time in the dream 2. i was on an office chair (the type of chair with wheels, sry i don't know) and i was again racing down a road, only this time me and some other people with cars were chasing someone, a bad guy... and i remember it was difficult to hold on to the chiar because of the speed, and someone in one of the cars was telling me to be careful and hold on, and i finally got a grip on the chair and continued chasing the guy... and i remember there was an accident and some of the guys on my side couldn't continue driving, but some of us did...i remember the guy was racing from us in a wheelchair, and he fell with it, and he got caught, again i remember the image of an accident or a crash or something...and then i don't remember... anyway both dreams had the same feeling of racing down a road, and i could feeel the speed of it all. i never had dreams like this. they were about 1-2 months apart i think... what do you know about racing, or speed, or fast driving in dreams? thanks :)

A Usually if you're in a car and you can't drive it, that means you feel like you don't have control in your life. If in the first one you had total control, you were enjoying it, and you were going through a really comfortable area, it might just mean that you really enjoyed your life at the time and felt like you were in control. Since you were in an office chair in your second dream I'm guessing that is related to work. If other people were racing with you that also makes me think that it's work-related, since work can be competitive. Since you're chasing after something it sounds like you're really wanting something or you have a goal, and you're all chasing after it, so maybe you guys are competing for something at work? Maybe people get hurt in the process or something gets destroyed? I don't know about the speed in general; I mostly just focused on how you were driving. Speed might symbolize though. . . um. . . going really fast? O_o Fast paced? Stressful, in a way? Remember not all stress is bad stress~!

- building a fwd dirt car?
the car has to be 4 cylinders and fwd. the rules basically say that it has to be stock and you strip it down to just about nothing and then put a 4-point cage in it. i was trying to figure out what exactly can i do to tune it while at the same time, sticking to the rules. i would also like to know a good car to get. i was thinking about either a nissan, honda, or toyota because they are light and able to be a little faster. here are the rules below: 1. 1980 or newer front wheel drive, 4 Cylinder passenger cars only. No all wheel drive or all wheel steering allowed. no, vans or pick-up trucks. 2. Body must maintain original dimensions, standard as from the manufacturer. 3. Floor pan, trunk pan, front and rear inner wheel wells must remain stock and in stock location. 4. Interior trim must be removed. (carpet, headliner, side panels, etc) 5. Hood must be held shut with at least 2 hood pins. 6. Must add at least 3 trash bars in front of driver. 7. Fabricated dash board OK. 8. Must add 20 gauge sheet metal cover rear of seat ( where back seat was located) 9. Doors must remain in stock location. 10. Doors must be welded shut in an approved manner. 11. Doors may only have metal removed to allow for clearance around the roll cage door bars. NO OTHER REMOVING OF METAL PERMITTED!!!! 12. Fenders and quarter panels MAY NOT be trimmed for tire clearance. 13. The inner fenders/wheel wells must remain stock and un-altered. 14. Must have at least a four point cage Engine: 1. Engine must remain in stock location. 2. Stock 4 cylinder engine only. Engine must remain stock as delivered by the factory. 3. NO Cosworth or rotary engines allowed, . NO turbo-charged or supercharged engines allowed. no h22a honda 4. All engines must be used in the model of car for which they were manufactured. 5. NO factory or after-market high performance components will be allowed in the engine or drive train. 6. Stock carburetor or fuel injection system for the make and model of car being competed. 7. Stock production air filter element required. NO high performance will be allowed. (K&N type, etc.) 8. Only water allowed in radiator and cooling system. NO anti-freeze allowed. 9. May remove exhaust pipe and mufflers. Suspension: 1. Only stock suspension parts allowed. NO cutting or lightening of suspension parts allowed. Springs MAY NOT be heated or shortened to lower car. 2. NO adjustable strut bushing or altering of stock location on shocks and struts. Wheels: 1.All wheels on car must be the same size and offset. 2. Tires must have DOT stamp for highway use. 3.no hp tires’ must be stock passenger car tires Seats & Belts: 1. Passenger seat and rear seat must be removed.. 2. Aluminum racing seat recommended . i want to add racing seats in my truck but someon told me i wouldnt pass inspection is that true?

A If it is DOT approved, otherwise it won't be street legal. Yeah, I know, a racing certification is usually more stringent, but still needs the DOT

- Can you use stock seatbelts with universal racing seats?
I plan on buying racing seats for my truck,and i was wondering do i have to use the 4 point harness or can i use the stock seatbelts? I will be driving this daily.So can I use my stock seatbelts with this, or do i have to buy the 4 point harness.Are they even legal for street use?

A The stock seatbelts should work fine. As long as your seatbelts are not attached to your seat in any way you will be OK. Some cars have the seatbelt coming out of the seat so if this is the case it wouldnt work. It is perfectly legal to do this. I think that Rocky is talking about getting certified for racing which it doesn't seem like your interested in.

I got some leather racing seats installed on my car, because I always wanted leather seats. Would you pay less for the car if you saw it has these seats than regular cloth seats (because you'd assume I raced it) or more?

A Would pay less.I figure a car that has racing equipment installed has been beat so won't last long.Only way I would be interested is if I'm buying a race car as a race car but would expect to have to put money into it due to rough treatment.
