- can you put Recaro racing seats on a 2004 honda civic.?
My dad recently bought me a 04 civic as a birthday present. I was wondering if you can install black Suede JDM Recaro seats with the stock seatbracket and slider that come with the OEM Honda seats or would i need to buy new slider and bracket,I'd like to know before i purchase the Recaros; also I heard that i would have to make custom welded seat brackets just for the seat. And lets just say im not the best welder. but if you just need to buy new seat brackets could anyone give me any good websites?
A yes, but you will need recaro runners/subframes for a 2004 EP civic, in the UK, the 2005 Premier edition EP3 type-R comes with recaros, the frames of them should fit JDM recaros, it depends on wether the ones you are looking at are side mounting or base mounting...you can get someone to custom make/weld frames, i know plenty of people with them, otherwise recaro's website should sell them for your car
